Hugo Blasutta will be joining EllisDon in mid-October as Senior Vice President, EllisDon Consulting and International Operations. Hugo has been a Senior Principal at Halcrow Yolles for the last thirteen years where most recently - as Director Of Corporate Development - he has been responsible for Halcrow Yolles' global business development in North America, the Middle East and Europe, and also for HY's global strategic and business planning processes. Prior to that, Hugo held a leadership position at NORR, one of Canada's leading AE firms.
Hugo will be responsible for the development and growth of two of EllisDon's other key strategic priorities: Our international activities and the new EllisDon Consulting business – through which we intend to grow and sell EllisDon’s intellectual capital and systemized expertise, as well as take an active role in the construction community throughout the world. Hugo's consulting engineering background will bring a valuable new perspective to EllisDon, and his broad international relationships and knowledge will deliver outstanding new advantages.
