Subcontractor Prequalification
At EllisDon we are not unique in that we heavily rely on our subcontractors’ skill and professionalism to satisfy our clients’ demands. With that reliance comes the need to address performance risk in a meaningful way and so we developed the Contractor Performance System (CPS) to meet that need.
As anyone who subcontracts work knows, subcontractor defaults have cascading effects on the schedules and profitability of all project stakeholders. If you’re like us and have set a goal of no default claims, the need to prequalify subcontractors long before they walk through a gate of a jobsite is a critical to success. Our prequalification systems have helped us achieve the lowest incidence of subcontractor defaults among our peers in North America and an enviable zero claims record.
